MCUK at Maintec 2012

December 2011 - Maintenance Connection UK are pleased to announce that they will once again be attending the Maintec trade show in 2012.

Maintenance Connection UK are pleased to announce that they will once again be attending the Maintec trade show in 2012. The trade show, held at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, runs from the 28 of February to the 1st of March and is a great opportunity for MCUK to meet with potential customers and gain a clear picture of where the maintenance industry is heading. Maintec 2011 proved a successful venture for the company, with the trade show providing a great opportunity to meet a number of companies that we are now privileged to call clients, and we hope to meet a number of new faces in Birmingham this March. For more information on how to find us at Maintec 2012 please visit the Maintec website or to sign up as a MCUK guest click here

New Customer

July 2011 - New Customer Signed

Maintenance Connection UK have signed another customer. The new Irish based client uses MC for it's Facilities Management business and it will enable them to offer their clients a better service. A key feature for choosing MC over other products was the ease of use and reporting which will allow the management team to serve their clients more efficiently.

Online Hosting Service (SaaS)

Maintenance Connection is available either online or onsite. When a customer chooses the online option, the Maintenance Connection software is hosted in a secure data centre.  The customer only needs a web browser to access the software, and nothing is installed.

Maintenance Connection's hosting service does not require a significant upfront investment in hardware or software licensing fees. Since the application service is paid for on a monthly basis, there is no commitment and upfront costs are low. Since the software resides in the Maintenance Connection data centre, you do not need a crew of personnel to support and maintain in-house application and database servers.

The Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) reflects the total expense involved in purchasing, deploying, and maintaining a maintenance management (or CMMS) solution. As organisations are demanding predictability and accountability for the total cost of software, hardware and support staff, TCO has become a popular decision making tool when choosing a maintenance management (or CMMS) solution. Although the Maintenance Connection value proposition is broader than TCO, the savings of an online web-based application versus the traditional onsite client-server based application are ideal for organisations seeking ways to reduce costs in order to increase profit.
